About Me:
You have found the page where you get to know a little more about me!
I was born and raised in Chesterfield, MI and grew up in a family with 5 children! I attended Michigan State University for my undergrad and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a major in English and a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).
After college, I moved to Clarksville, Tennessee to start my career as a kindergarten teacher! I spent two amazing years down there before getting engaged and moving back to Michigan. I recently got married in September 2018 to my husband Nick! I now currently teach second grade in Rochester, Michigan.
Ever since I was in Kindergarten, I told my family and friends that I was going to become a teacher when I was asked the most commonly asked question for a young child, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I spent hours in my basement teaching stuffed animals and my uncooperative siblings the lessons I was learning in school!
When I am not fulfilling my passion as an educator, I enjoy exercising, reading and traveling!
